Hey guys I'm not sure which route to take me and my buddy were pushing my prelude a little to hard and I am almost positive I warped the valves and jumped some teeth. I pulled valve cover off and knocked the rockers off on fourth cylinder I have not yet go the head off but I'm not sure if I try to find a h22a4 or just get a new h23a1 head or engine. Car has 220k and was running perfect found a head for $150 with 100k on it someone suggested not even existing my time or money putting the new head on it. But rather swap the engine but if I swap the engine I might as well put the h22a4 in since better gas mileage and performance. I am on a tight budget and engines are obviously more expensive and I was unsure of all the extra things I would need to do in order to put the h22 in. Also would it be possible to put a h22 head on an h23 bottom end? I really am unsure which route to take. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.
