Re: Need help with finding an air filter

That's what some like to call a whale penis intake. The inlet on that thing looks gigantic. Take old filter off and just measure the diameter and then hit up whatever place that stocks cone filters in that size. Could go straight to K&N or AEM. Not sure what sites to go to, maybe others can chime in.

Re: Need help with finding an air filter

The reason I asked here was to see if there was one that would be better than the PJDM filter.
If the filter really doesn't matter then I'll have to settle for the one from pjdm!

For that price of replacement, my advice, go buy K&n filter.

K&N is washable, let's in a bit more air than the oem and only costs a few $ more.

I bothered to click the link. Now I see what you mean. I was thinking he had the stock box type of intake...

Re: Need help with finding an air filter

I've got a fujita on mine and always enjoyed it, there are also filters that use a light dollop oil to trap more crap.

Re: Need help with finding an air filter

Wait, how the hell are you running a whale penis in a Prelude? For sh*ts and giggles, we tried putting my buddy's intake in my Prelude and it didn't even come close to fitting.

Nothing on this car seems stock. The only reason I bought it was because my 3rd gen died on me, and this was on Craigslist for 1k, no title. Had some legal documents fetched, and the Prelude cost me a total of 1229, tag up to date, and title in my name.
Was running, and had an H22a1, so I didn't question the intake. lol

Oh, and oddly enough, it fits perfect!!

No clue, and don't know how to tell.
The rotors are slotted and drilled. And that's all I know about the brake system atm. There's about 300 pages of work crammed in a folder to go through.

Re: Need help with finding an air filter

LOL.
Easy way to tell... On the passenger's side of the firewall, there will be a reservoir with what a f*ck ton of metal brake lines coming out of it, and it will have bright orange connectors. Also, your ABS light on the dash will most likely be illuminated, because the system is garbage and prone to failure.

Re: Need help with finding an air filter

I thought all you have to do is relocate the battery to fit that intake in the car. BTW lets see some pics of said car.

I'll check for the brake lines after class gets out. No ABS light lit up atm.

Battery is located in the trunk currently.
I'll take some pictures of the car and make a thread later today!
