i need some help with a few things with h23 vtec swap
I have a 93 lude and it had the h23a non vtec in it so I put a jdm h23 vtec swap. it has been a few months since that and am still having a few problems. I got a p28 chipped ecu in it. the first problem I am have in with the idling of the car where it keep goin up and down it not that bad but I don't want it to turn bad. and the second thing is that after I put the p28 ecu in the car fell like it got a lot of drag till it hits bout 5k rpms. me and my friends are sitting still on this. so if someone has had this problem or knows about this then please help me out

You need to get a tune. Every motor is different.

Re: i need some help with a few things with h23 vtec swap
If it is still have idle problems yes. Cleaning it will not always fix it, I have been through 2-3 used ones in mine lol. Also I have the same motor, same ecu from phearable ecu.net and it runs great with the basemap they provided. Not sure what your "drag problem" is but if it's a legit problem then a dyno tune will most likely not fix it.
