Re: What are these called and how do you replace them?

That's the quarter glass molding or quarter trim (you'll see both terms used in the shop manual). It's held on to the body with three clips; it also looks like the window glass itself (which is attached to the body by adhesive) helps hold it in place, so you may have to remove the glass to replace it. I've never had mine off -- I'm going off the pictures in the shop manual...would be a good reference for you to download. Should be a sticky on these forums.

Re: What are these called and how do you replace them?

Fantastic thread Q.
Can't wait to try it out. Might get it wrong w/o the running water pix to show me how lol.

And thanx to Jamie as well. You do have to remove the glass... carefully. The adhesive works all too well and many have ended up with broken glass.

Travish: manual is the top thread in the diy section.

There is a how to replace the clips in chapter 20 of the manual. It does not tell you how to unbond the adhesive that btw worked very well.

Re: What are these called and how do you replace them?

you cant buy the molding alone... so if your gonna buy a new glass for the new molding, why not just replace the whole thing.... only downside is, it costs $250 a piece, and is a bitch to get out.
