crap might need a new starter, do all fit?

so when i try to start up it goes chu............chu..................chu........... .blum blum vroooom it just barely starts everyday, so either the starter is going out or my brand new battery isnt strong enough?
and does every h/f series starter fit? i have a jdm f22b and i have a 94 si so im assuming i have the stock h23 auto tranny.

also im looking at the old one, does anyone know what things are necessary to get remove it? battery, battery tray, lower rad hose, it also looks like the ac line is in the way :/

thanks guys

Re: crap might need a new starter, do all fit?

Get ya some 1/4" extensions and some swivels there chitty chitty bang bang.

A few years ago when working on my sons accord starter and radiator, i went to advance, bought all the 1/4" extensions they had (3 sizes, about 4 each) then cleaned out all the 1/4" swivels at auto zone (12) 'cause somebody else ahead of me at advance cleaned them out. Lol

Take your starter out, go to a junkyard and find one there. Civics and accords share a lot of the same parts.
You could cross refference part numbers at majestic.

Re: crap might need a new starter, do all fit?

ok guys i really need help i just took 4 hours trying to get my starter out and im really at my patients limit. i got the front 14 mm bolt out but the one behind it is freakin retarted who the hell put it there?? i had to remove mostly everything in the way the battery and tray and the battery power cords and my intake but the lower rad hose is also pissing me off. i dont have a garage so i cant just dump the rad fluid everywhere at my apartments ugh.

the real problem is that last 14 mm, there isnt enough room for my 14mm socket to fit! i have a swivel attachment too but its no luck its just too fat to fit! f me can someone help?! this happens every time i try to work on my car it takes until night time and i cant do it ugh im cursed.
