Cruise Control Switch Relocation?

So i have been thinking if theirs any relocation for the cruise control. Since i am relocating the sunroof switch i thought of relocating the cruise and dimmer while im at it and just have a coin slot in its place. But i haven't found a single switch for the cruise control. Until i found this today. 97 ACURA CL SUNROOF & CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH | eBay
Any thoughts would it work? Obviously will need a pigtail but i wonder if it would work?

Re: Cruise Control Switch Relocation?

Go down to Carmax tomorrow and ask to look inside a CL if they have one so you can see up close any size difference. Oorrrr any car dealership. Then tell them you don't want the car because you don't like the buttons and bail.

That's not really an option for me since i like to travel long distances and like the cruise so i don't have to have my foot on the gas the whole way.

Winnar Winnar Chicken Dinner!

I laughed out loud..and snorted a lil! HEEHEE! I've been car shopping myself..may have to use this one. LOL!

to the OP; I don't understand.....you already have a [stock] cruise control button right?
Would not careful measurement and extending the current harness lead work and NOT cost you the extra $ for the Accura switch?

You are gonna pay $35 for something you already own and still have to get all the wirring/parts to install it. Guess I'm missing something.

You can relocate the Sunroof switch with the Sunroof switch off a 97-99 Acura CL. And put it in the center console next to the hazard switch. Their is a EDM/JDM Switch for the Dimmer switch which will move it to the button areas by the arm rest. If you can manage to relocate all three buttons theirs a rare coin slot that covers that hole and then you have an extra slot to put your things at. Though i will probably just get the small coin slot that was available for the 5th gen preludes that covers one of the switch holes.

Re: Cruise Control Switch Relocation?

U can make it work but u will be sacrificing either the sunroof switch or the cruise control switch because the other slots are a different size. On mine i relocated the sunroof switch (Acura CL) to the front left switch slot. The hazard switch in the middle and the folding mirrors far right. I can't post pix but can text u some pm me your # if u want or google Honda prelude center console pix
