can i remove this from my clutch

Ok First time i have ever did a honda in my life and here is the deal I got it swaped from 422a1 to h22a, hooked it all up and one dist had cluster working but no spark , changed to the h22a1 dist and it has spark but no cluster unless but i got it all together hit key and it is running yippie now for a little tweaking.
BUT FOR MY QUESTION
I read all the clutch threads and looked at the diagram in the no more clutch problems thread and I cant get my clutch to even move the slave cylinder at all. Im the diagram it shows master cylinder, line (metal), rubber then slave.
I have master cylinder, line to an round thing with one line in one out to rubber and then block on tranny then line to the slave cylinder,

CAN I remove everything in between and just run metal line from master to slave uninterupted???

AND in the no more clutch problems it says if you have to clutch pedal pressure assuming the slave isnt moving it says your clutch could be bad how can that be determined if your slave isnt moving the fork??

PS a newbie read something lmao

Well, before the engine swap, was the clutch operating correctly?
If yes, what part of the clutch hydraulic system, if anything, do you unbolt/remove/drain, when you pulled the engine?
Then upon reinstalling, did you properly bleed the clutch system of air? This takes awhileeeeee, so take your time doing this!!
