has any one managed to fit 3rd gen springs onto the 4th gen struts/shocks
found a good price on some

It won't be ideal even if they did work, the 3rd gen is much lighter than the 4th gen, you won't have the right spring rate anyways.

Talking about suspention I bought a 93 type s with f22a1 and it came with skunk 2 lowering springs with some coil overs what seem to be from eBay and when I lift the car up seem like with out the coil overs the spring look like they r to small what I mean is that it will be to drop and they won't be at a tight fit with out the coil overs could they be the wrong one on there but it rides good but my strut shocks are gone when I change my springs I'll take pictures thank you.

Dont. i did that and the shocks would wear out in like.. 2 months. True story.
