Idle control coolant hose leaking

I had antifreeze shooting out of a hose i searched for the hose and found that it was leaking from one of the hoses that connects to the idle control valve. I did a little search and found out that yes one of these hoses contains coolant. It seems like it might be hard to get at the bottom part of hose. Any one replaced one of these?

Re: Idle control coolant hose leaking

yes... it is difficult but not impossible. MAKE SURE you follow the proper procedures for bleeding off all the air you will be introducing into the system when you replace the hoses.

Taking the Distributor cap off helps... If I were you I would replace all of your hoses and [external] belts while you are at it.
Rubber dries out.- bad.
Preventatitive maintenance- good.

the FINAL idle problem thread!!!!!
