Hose Deleting ?

Hi All, So in the process of Boost my prelude, I want to tidy the bay up and have some questions!

In this first photo there is a large black hose going from the Throttle body to the Brake servo, Can this be removed/plugged/breather filter on the Brake side and then just Blocked on the throttle body side ? Or does it have to linked to the throttle body for Vacuum for some reason ?

Now in this second picture, Theres a load of red hoses(thinner ones on the left/center of the throttle body) going from the Throttle body into what seems like a load of solid hosing. Is this part of the Vacuum system (which I'll be removing) or is it something different.

If it is part of the Vacuum system and i disconnect these hoses can i just block them all up on the throttle body ?

Any help with this would be awesome!

Thanks

Dan

Re: Hose Deleting ?

pic #1, that big hose is so you have vacuum assisted brakes. The brake booster uses engine vacuum, that big hose is how it gets it.

pic #2, those thinner red hoses are indeed vacuum hoses, they're going to the solid vacuum lines, which are attached to a bracket for OEM mounting. You can remove it, but I wouldn't just start blocking off vacuum ports. Follow the hoses/tubes and find out where they g...o so you know what you're getting yourself into

Thanks ShoofIsLudin!

So, ideally I need to leave that one connected!

Also as long as I know where they are going and are part of what I'm deleting it's safe to block where the fitted onto the throttle body ?

Re: Hose Deleting ?

Hi all, So i managed to find this diagram in the 4th gen prelude service manual and seems to highlight the Vacumm stuff i was on about.

Now judging by the diagram i can delete EVERYTHING in it other than the MAP sensor!

Could someone confirm this for me ?
