Hello I ma jason Fromlouisville ky. I just bought me first prelude and I am looking to upgrade my hp.
I have a h22a jdm with regered transmission and just put down 180whp stock motor on a 210hp jdm..
Now what i am wanting to do is try to get as cloose to 200 as possible na.
what would be the best things to do at this point. and what do you think they would give me. Injectors bigger? intake, throttle body, msd, what all can be done and what is best for money. i have veader already.

Re: prelude performance question

Complete 3in exhaust, skunk2 mani with skunk2 pro1 cams, with a tuneable ecu
With a badass tune will put you over 200hp

Re: prelude performance question

I used search buttom and get mixed reviews on each post, Sorry to beat a dead horse. but As far as header i can not find a name on it, has 20 inch resignator and muffler, all that will be gone I do oval asphalt racing so no need for it, if i do skunk 2 cams do i for sure need the spring and retainer kit????. if so can the springs be changed with head still installed.. i have a tunable ecu tuned by rich tune in nc. but i bought the car from there. I will be calling them to find out what it was tuned with. intake and tb good easy swap and what size injectors.. i need a bad ass second gear car lol

Re: prelude performance question

dont bother with the MSD crap. OEM ignition will hold up. Best to spend your money on a HYTECH replica header or your tune.

Re: prelude performance question

header looks like a oem header i guess it has the three down tubes and one going under the back, not heat shield tabs though.. is that junk, and if so keep in mind i will only be running a 2.5 pipe from it out the side

Re: prelude performance question

prob a strut tower bar, it tightens up the chassis of the car to prevent flex. nice to have for handling.

1. yes you need valvetrain upgrade (not with skunk2 tuner ones but with everything above them)
2. you can change valvetrain components head on, it just require some tools
3. many people use acura rdx 410cc injectors (me included)
4. you dont need new TB
5. get good header and maybe better IM

disagree, cant you guys talk anything else than always hytech rep that and euro r this
there is other products too!

like with vibrant header you dont have to notch front members and it has flex in it already. its more expensive yes,
but then again its not replika product

yes there are different brands but there's a reason most guys on here with full N/A builds run the replica header... just saying. I agree with everything else you said.
