h22 swap help?

currently doing an h22 swap. I have everything in and all sensors connected correctly, i hope.. but anyways the engine is cranking but it wont start. I has spark and i have fuel in cylinders 1 and 2 but not in 3 and 4. i also have the ground connected at the thermostat housing, so does anyone have any suggestions on what it could be? thanks in advance

Did you check the harness? The cap? Plug wires?

Re: h22 swap help?

Well you need 3 things for combustion: fuel, air, and spark.

Using that train of thought, I bet you can narrow it down quickly.

P.S. You need the right mixture of fuel/air. Maybe your problem lies there if you've check all other options.

Re: h22 swap help?

Did you check the actual harness? Leading into the injectors.

Probably try a voltage drop on the harness and do a good visual check on the wiring.

Re: h22 swap help?

alright heres what happened i forgot to reconnect the resistor box. start up everytime now, however its idling pretty high at like 4k rpms. I think i might have a bad fast idle valve since when i when i plug the hole up the idle goes down. Any suggestions on tying to fix it? or do i have to buy another one from honda majestic? also thanks for your help so far guys.

Re: h22 swap help?

Im led to think that a bad iacv would make your engine bog down when u turn on accessories, ie: heat, lights, steering wheel, your idle dips...
I think it may be your fitv, have u driven it ? has it warmed up ?

dont listen to what the guy says at the end of the video, he kinda slow, and u'll end up re-adjusting it at least 2 times... just screw it in all the way, and back it out
1/2 - 3/4 of a turn

IACV

have u tried this ? the FINAL idle problem thread!!!!!

but if its really just done, do what i did...
