I finally got my overheating problems solved after about $600.00 in new parts, been driving my lil 95 se for about a month with no problems; then a new gremlin poked its ugly head up. I'm driving down the road at about 50 mph coming up on a red light and start down shifting, when I come to a stop at the light and the car is idling normally the tach is showing between 2,500 to 3,000 rpm's and it stays that far above normal readings even when running through the gears. I can't find any thing in the helms manual about how to trouble shoot the tach. The car runs fine and will scream thru the gears, just the tach reading is off a little more than 2,000 rpm. Does any one have an idea of what I should check first to find the problem. Any help is appreciated.
