Re: Timing off???

on the fly wheel it has a cross that goes between the little prong that sticks take off the rubber piece left of the headers, the arrow on the crank has to be lined up with the dot you'll see it

cam gears- arrows have to be facing up too, it also has 2 lines on either side that go lined up with the top of the head use pin punches to hold it in place.

Rear balance gear- has to be locked in place your suppose to use a bolt, but I uses a screw driver have someone help you to hold the screw driver. Spin the gear till the bolt or screwdriver fall in to a hole your going to feel it, the gear shouldn't move. (Correct me if I'm wrong got confused on this too but is the way I did it and 1,000 miles later its still running knock on wood)

Re: Timing off???

Aslong as it dosnt turn try to fit something a little bigger to get rid of the play in it so you could line everything up correctly

Re: Timing off???

Go by the crank pully make arrow pointed at the dot, but just to make sure look at the fly wheel for the cross
