F22 Vtec Swap into The BB2. Need HELP!!

Heys guys whats up, To make this short, I have a 1992 Prelude Si, I am dropping in a F22b1 Vtec that came from a 94 Accord. MY MAIN PROBLEM is My Lude has OBD1 and The f22 has OBD2 (I think???). So The Wiring Harness from the F22 does not match my Ludes Harness Connections. Thats my over all problem that is stopping me from getting My baby up and running. So i do know that some of you guys on here have done the f22 vtec swap on the 4th gen lude. SOO PLEASE can some one help me out with this, what do i need to do, do i need a diff wiring harness for my engine, what kind of harness. Ohh and Before all of this my Lude had a h23, yeah yeah i know thats a HUGE downgrade but its all i can work with till i get a good paying job. Please guys Help me out here.

Re: F22 Vtec Swap into The BB2. Need HELP!!

This is what you do.

1. get an obd1 f22 engine harness, perferibly from a prelude f22

2. Obviously it doesn't have the vtec wiring so you'll have to wire that your self not hard at all.

3. Get obd1 dizzy , injectors, throttle body,

4. It's not a downgrade if you put an h22 head on it :)
Id go f series block any day ;)

Re: F22 Vtec Swap into The BB2. Need HELP!!

F22 can hold 8 lbs - stock yea lol

Basicly for vtec you have to wire the vtec sensor an vtec pressure switch
I used an extra harness an got pinned wires off that, wire both sensors to the ecu
I would recommend you tune off a p28 ;)

You know your converting an obd2 motor to obd1 right
You need thoughs obd1 parts to function properly

Re: F22 Vtec Swap into The BB2. Need HELP!!

Ok am starting to get a picture in my head.
cough cough ok so first i need to get a wiring harness from a f22 that came from a 4th gen lude. Then i need to Wire the Vtec Sensor and Vtec Pressure switch to my Chipped or tuned P28 Ecu. Then after all thats done i need to get OBD1 parts, like the dizzy, throttle body, etc to get it running right????
