Icon5 auto to manual?

i have a 94 prelude i want to change from auto to manual. i have a full manual downer car to use so i have all the parts. now to do this swap would i only put manual ecu in, manual tranny, shifter/linkeges, and clutch line with master cylinder. i belive that the mounts for the clutch pedal and cluch master cylinder are already there so is every thing just swap and bolt on?

Re: auto to manual?

Most of us know the basic difference between guide and automated transmissions: with a guide, you by hand switch equipment whereas in an automated it is done instantly. But the normal comprehension of the variations between guide and automated signals usually prevents there.

There actually some wiring that needs to be done also. Reverse switch, wiring in a clutch safety switch. I had all the equipment to do that swap then my lude got ran into. If CB7Tuner ever gets back online they have a great write up on it. Also using the starter from the manual tranny. U didnt mention that so just wasnt sure if ya knew? U can use your speed cluster but will have those lights for 1,2,3,D,R. so swapn in one from a manual tranny. Your gonna have a hell of a time with the clutch pedal and master cylinder. You will see what im talkn about when u go to take out of donner car. oh and the auto transmission mount needs either a hole drilled in a certain spot or removed and welded back. Also im not to sure but think the back engine mount needs to be changed or modified. Heres a link http://www.honda-Tech.com/showthread.php?t=1235221 Its for a 5th gen. but theres alot of info there. I have alot of cb7tuner stuff in my favorites but cant access bcuz they had a server crash bcuz some hacker so if they ever get up again I will send some links ur way. Oh and Timpain lay off the airplane glue dude. lmao im sure thats real good info there but does it actually pertain to this guys thread? Just sayn!
