engine bogs

hey folks. im new to the site and hoping you guys can help me out, i have a 93 prelude si with the H23A1 motor. i have had the car for about a week and it ran great when i got it. yesterday the throttle started acting weird and pulsing sorta while trying to accelerate. progressively got worse and now it dies at an idle and i cant get the RPMs to climb hardly even in neutral. any ideas/suggestions?

Re: engine bogs

also my brother just came to look at it and he is a pretty decent mechanic if you ask me and he thinks it might be a vacuum leak. if thats the case how do i test that/find it?

Re: engine bogs

Make sure tps is plugged in
Adjust idle screw on throttle body may need to turn it up.

Re: engine bogs

all of my sensors are pluged in and yesterday idled fine when it was hot. this morning while it was cold it kept dieing while idling. as well as really hard to start. its getting worse and worse it seems. any amount of throttle kills it unless i just tap tap tap tap until it stops bogging and then dies when i release the throttle.
