Help!!

I got a problem.

I know my car needs a new clutch but the clutch hasn't been slipping. the clutch peddle just sits on the floor, sort of after a couple pumps it gets okay.
I've already replaced the master and slave cylinder.

But. new problem.

My car wont go into Reverse. I can put it in like half way but not enough to engage, even when the car is off. I'm not forcing it cause I'm pretty sure that'll cause more problems. I've tried pretty much everything without having to open up the trans.

I have a h23 96 si.
any ideas or input?

thanks
david
any pointers?

Re: Help!!

Sounds like either it's a clutch mechanical issue or the gearing is f*cked.

A set of Mahle 11.5:1 CR pistons and Pro2 cams would really make that engine a beast!!!!!!! Close to 220whp or over if you have a good tuner.

Re: Help!!

Not worth trying to get it just running with a new trans/clutch now. im thinking new build this time since my car is going to be down. plus i need to find a tuner and a shop that can help me, i got not time really cause the army takes most of it away.

h23vtec turbo
aiming for a simple 280-300hp

saving about 5k for this idk maybe more?
car is important to me, extreme sentimental value.

Re: Help!!

Check your tranny fluid level
Make sure clutch is bleed properly

Shift gears manuelly on the tranny an put it reverse, if its still hard after that
Your screwed an get another tranny lol
