Which fuel pump?

I have searched for an answer to my question with no luck. i am almost positive that i need a new fuel pump. (my CEL is throwing a code one, and i rang out all the wires, all were normal, but i didnt get to the one for the fuel pump becauase i had to go to work.) i also feel like my car is losing power occasionally around 3500-4000rpms. My question is which walbro fuel pump should i go with on a stock obd1 jdm h22a? Also if you think that the pump is not my problem let me know what you think it may be. Also this has been happenning since before i swapped my engine/trans. Thanks in advance foer the help.

Re: Which fuel pump?

Doesn't sound like your FP. If the FP was bad, the entire car would shut off and wouldn't even turn on, since it can't supply the fuel.

Re: Which fuel pump?

By seeing if the FPR is bad, just pull the vacuum off of it and see if there's any fuel present. If there is, replace it. It's got a hole in the diaphragm. That causes hard/rough start. Go back to the code and start over.

I opted for a Walbro 190LPH. I'm making 204whp and it's more than enough; even my stock FP is enough but it gave out on me so I opted for that one.
