Just bought a 93 SR-V

Just bought myself a 93 prelude sr-v for my first car! Too stoked on the purchase, seems like a beast so far. I found a armrest to but because there is a serious lack of storage space with the inch thick glove box. What would be a good price for the armrest? I got the prelude for 1550$ so i have lots to spare on some things for it... What are some good things to do first? Also the exhaust is preety loud but it sounds like under the drivers seat, what could I do about that? I'll post pictures up soon, everything looks stock except theres a new transmission and clutch

Look under the car and see what it has for a exhaust... that will solve one problem lol

get under the car and look for holes in the exhaust or just take it to a shop and for the armrest just go to the junk yard man

Re: Just bought a 93 SR-V

Yeah I'll look under for sure I've been busy with work the past few days and its dark when I get home. As for finding a 93 armrest in the junk yard I hear they are pretty rare on the 93 models. But I was more wondering what are some good things to put money into, like what are the starting points on a stock 4th gen

Re: Just bought a 93 SR-V

First thing you should do is maintance, so tune up, timing belt water pump, oil pump once that is done move on to suspension depending on what you are going to do with the car you have lots of choices, then you've got bolt on mods (header, intake, etc) then a tune then you can go for wheels.
As far as just aftermarket or upgrades you could replace the headlights with jdm one pieces you can get fog lights, you can do the 94-96 center consol conversion which gives u an arm rest.

Re: Just bought a 93 SR-V

Timing belt. Water pump. New spark plugs and wires. New cap and rotor. New air filter unless you have CAI.
Also seeing that you have the sr-v model you need some power for that H23. Header does some good and so does intake.
