Ecu problems,,, new user

Ok I got a 93 prelude with a jdm h22a I picked up a few months back. The guy I picked it up from said it had a chipped p28 ecu in it. I noticed that vtec engaged at 5600 rpm so I decided to check it and it was a p30 ecu which is a del sol vtec ecu. The car ran fine with the p30 ecu and its not chipped. I had a p72 gsr ecu socketed and got a h22 basemap from pherable.net. I know that its not a final tune but the car hesitates and has no power accelarating but it feels strong at WOT. Any opinions on what I should look for?

^^ I know that but dont u think it should run better with a actual h22 map instead of a b16 map?

Not necessarily. I've had a few friends get the pherable.net ecu with the basemaps for their set up and immediately had to go in them selves and tune it just to get it run properly.
