Radio power.

Does anyone know if I could make it so my radio does not turn off until I open a door? It turns off right after I take the key out but the windows still work so I'm thinking there is a way to make the power to the radio stay on like the windows.
Thanks to any help

Re: Radio power.

Why don't you just put the key in ignition position 1 where ONLY the radio and 12v outlet powers up?

IF you sit in ur car long enough with it off, you will hear a relay type click sound after a few minutes....then ur windows don't have power anymore.

Radio until the door is opened......Its really not one of those optional creature comforts of ur prelude....just doesn't work like that

Re: Radio power.

tie it in with the relay the windows use to stay on after the key is taken out. dont listen to people who say it cant be done, just take some time and read through some wiring diagrams carefully.

Re: Radio power.

how are you at simple wiring? You can do this with with a few relays and some patience. Jesse (Nevrdun) posted this om here before I think.
