Since yesterday my car has been putting my car into neutral by itself without me touching it. It's seemingly getting worse and worse. Also, every time I go around a turn my brake light comes on, but my brake fluid is fine, any ideas? thanks

Sounds like your 5th gear is shot. If it can't even stay in gear, it's shot. Possibly bleed the brakes? Unsure on that one.

Does it Pop into neutral only when you let off the gas, or just anytime?

mine started doing the same thing, i ended up losing 5th, 3rd, and 1st while trying to figure it out, i say best bet is to buy a new tranny.

that's the symptoms of your 5th gear being toast, so it's time to save up and either buy a new 5th gear and have the tranny rebuilt, or buy a whole different tranny

Well my uncle told me that the transmission was leaking oil, could that be a cause of it? and how much does it usually run to get gears fixed? because i think 4th is starting to do the same thing as well. also, today when i was going in reverse it sounded like I hit something then it got stuck in Reverse and I couldnt put it into neutral,

low fluid can also be the cause of losing a higher gear. find the leak, fix the leak, fill the trans. and you might be ok. if your car is throwing itself out of a gear, don't manually hold it in that gear, you'll trash your trans.

My car did the same thing when it was low on tranny oil. check it and fill it if it is low and your problem will be partly solved. then find the leak and hope you didnt do any permanent damage in the process. My 5th gear has a little whine to it now....

last night we replaced the transmission oil, but whenever i switch into 5th it grinds gears, is that a sign its dying?

Just probably did unrepairable damage to it. Good thing is honda transmissions can be had used for pretty cheap.
