Icon2 ?s for 5 lugs conversion for my lude!

I DID resarched all the threads about 5 lug conversion from this site and other sites. I want you to tell me if I got everything taken care of.

1)Must only 5th gen 97-01 base model. Not SH model

2)both front spindes with its HUBs (will buy new wheel studs, rotors, and brake pads)

3)both front brake calipers with its stuff. (current have non vtec calipers)

4)Just rear HUBs off 5th gen prelude and can use my current rear spindes and rear brake calipers (will buy new wheel studs, rotors, and brake pads) or maybe new rear HUBs off eBay (i have a question about it.. read down)

5) Large flat washers to make it FIT right.

Tell me I got it right?

Ok now my questions are

1) I current have axles that is with JDM F22B swap which is SOHC non vtec. Will my current axles fit the 5 lug setup?

2) I know large flat washers to be put somewhere around the axle nut lock, but WHERE do I put large flat washers? outside front where axle nut lock or inside where axles goes in the spindle??

3)From what I researched, one of the site stated that I can use my current REAR spindles and rear brake calipers. All I have to do is take the 4 lug HUBs out and put the 5 lug HUBs in.... Is that right?

4) I am UNsure which should I buy used rear 5 lug hubs from local junkyard, but the new 5 lug HUBs from ebay thats almost 40 shipped for each... WILL IT FIT??? click the link. The reason why I asked is because it says FIT ALL 97-01 prelude but everyone said the parts MUST from 97-01 base model prelude?.Thats why I am confused.

New Wheel Hub Rear Honda Prelude 2001 2000 99 98 97 Auto Car Parts 1999 1998 | eBay

I thank you for your time and help. You have to understand that I am deaf. My reading level is not high like you guys, but I try my best to understand what I need in order to have the 5 lugs setup. I have cash ready and will go to local junkyard tomorrow to get all the parts off a 97 prelude base model.

Again, Thank you!

Hm... I am not sure what it look like, but what if I just go ahead get the whole rear 5 lug setup include spindle, knuckles, and its HUB and call it a day?

Umm... what are the asnwers to my first and second questions? I know the asnweres for the third and fourth questions. Thanks to CAMPBELL!

street ride14- your lude is damn sexy with these wheels. That rims or rsx wheels is what I plan to ride on when I become 5 lugging.

Re: ?s for 5 lugs conversion for my lude!

Yea you have to use base model parts i recommend new pads an rotors for the long run an
Don't use any sh parts!

I used 5th gen spindles ball joints are in way better condition :)
Only problem with that if you have abs you need 5th gen abs sensors as well

Its about a 4 hour job if you know what your doing an call it a day ;)
Lmk if you need to know anything else

Re: ?s for 5 lugs conversion for my lude!

My bad I answered your first 1&2 lol

As far as your axles you can use them I on the other hand just bought 5th gen axles because they were the perfect fit for me

If you need washers you'll know if you need them it goes behind the axle nut just in case there isn't enough thread on axle spline

I have a question, what's the benefit of the five-lug conversion? Is it just for looks, or is there a performance aspect as well?

I thought some threads said don't use 5th gen axles. It bolt up perfect without using washers?

Ok, but Ill save $ by using my current axles and buy a few washers.

Ok... I got it everything, but one thing I do not get it about the washers where to put. Put it between of axle lock nut and rotor? or put washers in the axles teeth then put it into rotor?
