Mishimoto Thermo switch problem

Hi, i just installed a mishimoto thermoswitch in my 94 prelude, but i have the next question:

With the mishimoto thermoswitch the cooling fan keeps on after i shut the car down for at least 15 minutes, if i change to the original the fan stops at the same time the car does.

What can i do to use the switch, what is wrong? I would not mind about it but it is draining the battery.

Thanks
