Re: coilover suggestions?

Patience young padawan. The answer will avail itself soon enough.

Ground control coilovers kit. Get some bilsteins and you're set. Why no one appreciates the thinking Honda put into factory settings, I'll never know.

Re: coilover suggestions?

F&F has some quality products. obviously on the cheaper end of a full kit but haven't heard anything bad about them.

Re: coilover suggestions?

FFs are OKAY...but not for dumped rides. drives like crap when its low. guaranteed.

i agree with Ground Controls. had them for 5 years, slammed to the floor and still feels good. choose wisely when it comes to shocks though.

i totally disagree on F$F being terrible on dumped cars bro. i had koni/hnr race spring and my f&f type2 handles way nicer on both softest and stiffest settings

actually full body coil overs is much more intended for lower/dumped cars because of obtaining a full stroke of the shock
w/ shock/spring or coilover sleeve combo u lose stroke and more chances of bottoming out ur shock and blowing them

i compared my coilovers w/ my buddies koni/gc coilover sleeve on lowest setting and mine has way more suspension travels than his!

Re: coilover suggestions?

type 2s are ok. if you try type ones, you'll know what im talkin about lmao.

btw i was referring to the post above mines about his FF type ones.

its also true you guys have more susp travel because of the custom top hats, if i had that, i would go just as low or even more.

if you didnt know i also "trimmed" my GC spring just a bit :)

Re: coilover suggestions?

btw jackpot how long have you had your coils? i wanna know how long they will last, cuz i know a friend in my crew rolling on some on his civic and they are about to give away. a year and a half and the ride is feeling it.

if yours is good it might come in handy for potential customers :)

Re: coilover suggestions?

I cant agree more about Full Coilover Suspensions. I prefer the Ground controls because if one shock goes, you can be back on the road in one day. You are sending out for a new corner, and your car will be off the road for at least 2 days.

And I like Bilstein Shocks. The come filled with WIN.
