Power window Jam
Hey guys I'm new here on the site so sorry if this problem was already posted but I got a 92prelude and my driver side window has been getting stuck ever inch or so. Going up or down same thing, it will roll for a bit and will need a lil shove to get going again. I heard you can just use silicone as an easy first option and lubricate the plastic edging that guides the window but I was just wondering if anybody else had any insight please and thanks!!!!

Re: Power window Jam
Sounds like you have a broken clamp. It's a little plastic piece that holds the glass to the cable.

Re: Power window Jam
I kinda had the same problem. It would stick out alot. WHat I did was take of the side panel and adjusted the railing that controls the window and tightened the bolts.

Re: Power window Jam
Upon further inspection clamps seem to be intact, the railing where the tiny wheels roll was pretty dirty and sticky so i tried spraying that with some wd40 and cleaneed it out still gets stuck tho, whenever i push up on the railing it makes a kind of grinding noise and then works untill once again gets stuck and needs another push!!!Grrrr lol
