Car not starting, H22A, p13 ecu

OK, this is my brothers car, but I'm working with him to get it running. We're both new to hondas. 92 prelude, H22A swapped, p13 ecu. The guy he got the car from did the swap. The car was running fine, then lost vtec, at the next intersection, it died completely and did not start after that. No fuel and no spark. The main relay clicks, but the fuel pump does not prime when the key is turned to ON. CEL stays on solid when checking codes.

Replaced the main relay and distributor so far, no dice. Cleaned the hell out of the thermostat ground, replaced the - cable from the batt to the trans housing.

I've googled the hell out of this, and can only find the same suggestions: main relay and thermostat ground; both of which have been checked/replaced.

Any other suggestions?
Bryan

Check your fuses under the hood and under the dash. Dont be quesy about it, check em all. I'm a bit short tempered when it comes to this kind of problem and I just swap every damned fuse for a new one.

We checked the fuses, none were bad. Swapping a good fuse for another good fuse seems a little odd, but it's worth a shot.

Is there anything to test? I'd hate to keep blindly throwing parts at it.

k, cranking, but no fuel or spark. since you know the FP isn't priming, i would check that for ANY operation at all by hooking 12v straight to the pump. then you'll know if the FP is good or bad.

but the no spark.... where you checking? at the end of all 4 plug wires?

Checking for spark by pulling a wire, pulling the plug, put plug in wire and hold on valve cover while cranking.

Is there an easy way to connect power straight to the pump? jump something at the main relay??

loosen the small bolt on the top of the fuel filter, crank the engine and see if there is any fuel comin out....... with jdm distributors u have to run some wires so the internal coils would work, checks to see if the came apart
