Re: need engine!

look at some of your local importers just be sure to inspect the engine.
went with a friend to pick up a H22a the other day it had a few broken clips here and there and they replaced them after we pointed them out. they even had the compression test results for us on the engine. you don't always have to order online to get a good deal

Re: need engine!

Yeah thats usually the best way when your on a budget. try to hear the engine run and check compression before you buy. even if you find a h23 for cheap its better than no engine lol. I bought a h22 once from a guy local, it came with skunk2 stage 2 valvetrain with a mild p&p. And with everything but the exhaust manifold. I got it for 250. got the engine in the car, and it had blow by like a mofo. pulled the head and the oil pan, swapped out the rings and, had a solid running h22 for a little under 400. dont for get the ecu.

Here's a ad in Denver... doesn't say what engine?

Honda Parts

Get on Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market

MY FAV website. It will search by location too! I bought "new" leather off there from washington and shipped all front n back seats for $400 to WY a few years ago for my old car.
