Re: a good exhaust kit?

depends how much you wanna go for,

go on youtube and look up different exhausts and depends how you like the sound. you can get a tip, a namebrand tip for that same price, but depends on the size of the piping, ex. 2.25 inch, 2.5 inch, 3 inchs (good for boost), it may be cheaper to go the tip/exhaust shop route, just depends on what you like.

namebrand exhausts: skunk2, apexi, hks, tanabe.
stay away from american race :P lol, (not hatin) just depends on you.

1. what engine do you have in there?
2. if it's an h22, go 3" right off. you'll gain in hp and tq
3. I have a hytech header, 3" piping, 2 resonators and a vibrant muffler and it's not loud or ricey at all

Re: a good exhaust kit?

i would recommend a 2.5 twin loop exhaust tip. I put that on my prelude with stock exhaust last jan and it sounded really nice, not at all ricer. i got one on ebay for 60 bucks including s&h so great for a budget. Its was also an h23

Re: a good exhaust kit?

I never took an exhaust clip with my setup, I'll do so today. I'll be alone in the car, and on my way to work so it wont be nothing amazing. But you'll get an idea of regular driving, and then the vtec pop; Hytech replica, megaflow cat, single res, 3in pipe, apexi n1.
