S tech Tein springs - universal question

So my buddy picked up tein springs for his 00 civic. He only used the rear and gave the front two to me.

My question would be: can you use 00 civic lowering springs on a 95 prelude? I threw em on and the fit nicely but they made the most god awful noise when compressed. (stock coilovers)

Also looked as if it heightened my ride rather than lowered it as well. Is there any way to buy new rubbers in the mount to fix it all or should I just sell them and invest in depo's?

Part: f-p1a24-ouo kh1

For the love of lowered ludes!

Oh god, just get the right springs for your car dood, don't be a cheapass when it comes to your suspension. Civics are a couple hundred pounds lighter than preludes, meaning diff spring rates, ride height, bounciness, etc...
