2 in 1 94-95 accord side (how to) & 92-93 fog switch connector location

EDITED
still got no license so ill just keep messing with my car.lol

since the first pictures are crap and BECAUSE u guys request to do it again
I re did the mod with a proper a camera and lots of pictures.
(1st) when ive search about the accord sides. ive only seen ppl talkin about it no write up. but it was enough for me to try it
94-95 4door honda accord side skirt
**you can use any tools that works the best for you**

gut the accord side skirts , i used a dremel w/ a cutting wheel

cut it to length, i used a dremel

i forgot to mention this when u stack the skirt on top of the stock skirt it will be a very tight fit. so what i did i used a file to skim a little bit so it will slide in

now stack it on top of ur old skirt . again screw it how u like it : )

now if u wanna use ur prelude mudflaps . i used a dremel just measure it properly before hacking stuff.lol . i messed up my first one but the 2nd one looks ok.

basically thats it .

random pics of the skirt

(2nd) theres a honda walkthrough for the 94-96 fog light installation not for the 92-93 but in order to use the 94-96 installation all u have to do is find the 92-93 fog light connector and the relay

the relay is very easy to find all u have to do is crawl under the steering wheel and u will see it

now the fog switch connector is PITA!
u have to take out the cover blah blah and ones u take this out(air ventilation pipe w/e u call it.lol) everything will b easy after .

u look into the ventilation hole and u will see a green plug and its taped into the harness ( mine was rolled into a white tape)

after u cut the tape just pull the plug and thats it!

with the tweeter fog switch

now u can follow the 94-96 fog light walkthrough

hope this help some of u
thanks for looking

Re: 2 in 1 94-95 accord side (how to) & 92-93 fog switch connector location

In all 3 '93 preludes ive owned, all i had to do was remove the drivers side tweeter cover with a flashlight in one hand and used my other hand to fish around the wiring harness' i could feel and had no problem finding the fog switch connector and pulling it out. There was no need to remove anything inside or under the dash on my cars. Yours looked pretty buried in there though. Did you try to fish it out before you removed the piping?

Are you planning on painting the side skirts to match the car? Id be curious how they look matching your front lip/car.

Im more interersted in seeing how the painted sides work with the front lip as i dont think ive seen that combo. I think the accord rear is played out on preludes. It seems like everyone and their mom jumped on that bandwagon and i have yet to see one that looks like it belongs on the car to me, but im very picky about aesthetic mods on 4th gen ludes.

Re: 2 in 1 94-95 accord side (how to) & 92-93 fog switch connector location

there are many reason y ppl use accord rear bc to some it looks nice and very inexpensive. if it was up to me i would like values sport type1 skirt , azect or value sport type2 rear but this parts are rare and expensive . until i acquire this . accord sides and rear will do for now.lol
im more in the form>function dumped low offset phase at the moment.lol
i think ur a function over form type of dood. thats y maybe its harder for u too like cosmetic stuff am i right?

Im not a total function over form type but that better describes me than any other label when it comes to 4th gen preludes. Ive wanted one since the first time i saw one in 1992/1993. I love the way the lines flow on the car with a simple 2"ish drop and a nice 5 or 6 spoke +38 to +43 offset rim with thick grippy meaty tires. I think if the 4th gen came out in the 2000s at some point with a K24 6-speed and a more functional rear seat, we'd still be enjoying new iterations of the Prelude. The 4th gen was ahead of its time stylistically IMO.

I was lucky enough to find azect rears and my hiro eyelids on the same day from the same place in japan on ebay. I felt like i won the lottery

Ill again step off my soapbox lol
