Gasket question

Im going to be doing a headswap on my h23a1 . . . I have a fully ported head for it. My question is would you trust the 47$ eBay gasket kit or should I buy it through the local parts store for 160. The one at the parts store is from head gasket up . . . The eBay one is a complete kit

Re: Gasket question

im usually an oem guy but, the odd thing i dont mind cheaping out on. i would only get a honda head gasket but would possibly cheap on intake, exhaust, valve cover, spark plug, seals/gaskets/grommets. whats the worst that can happen. you leak air and they are easy to change if you get a crappy one.

Re: Gasket question

That's most important gasket on the engine. Just fork out the 85 bucks and go grab one from honda. As far as the other gaskets go, I would try to stick to like fel-pro or something. But it you can afford it OE all day.
