Need to change G101? ... need some help

Got a problem with the ground under the thermostat housing (g101). My car didnt start and i ran a ground off the body to the Main relay (just to get it to run and move it). I looked more through the manual and saw it it goes into the ecu. Is it fine how it is since ran and stat running with out a problem? Or do i need to replace it asap? Not to good with this electrical stuff. Also if i do need to replace any pointers on where and how? Thanks in advance.
