Found these on craigslist he sent me a pic the struts are kyb? The springs are red and say sportline. So I googled them and found that sportline is eibach? Thoughts knowledge about these two products please?

KYB struts are nice, mid range, gas struts. I've heard the sportlines are pretty awesome, someone on here was selling a set, and he said they had a million mile warranty.

KYB Gr2's are OEM replacement. AGX's are adjustable.

I just installed the gr2's on my my 4th gen and they are pretty good. The sportlines are some good springs I had on my 01 accord.

I have that exact combination on my civic end they perform very well without being bouncy or rough. They also have survived 7 years of consistent driving without any issues

Re: kyb struts , sportline springs?

You should try and consult an application guide or something of the sort. From my understanding GR2s don't come in a length/stroke required for such a drop (2"+) AGXs I believe you can. Also, GR2 strut is valved differently than a stock or stock replacement damper.

Re: kyb struts , sportline springs?

They say the AGXs are good until 1.5 inches as a guideline but I hear theyre actually good up to 2 inches
