Help me out with driveaxle

I replaced my clutch and had no problem getting that done untill i came to the drive axle, after i put the transmission back up i went side the car and shifted a few gears to check it out, I was try to put my drive axle up but couldn't get it in then today i relized that i left it in gear When i was trying to put it in, was that the reason i couldn't get it in? Or is just a Bi*ch to get in?

Any help is appreciated

Google search: Prelude drive axle install

Google knows all. Take advantage of it.

In my experience, axles go in great if you line them up as straight as you can before trying to push the splines in. Ive never read any warning one way or the other about being in or out of gear during an axle swap.

Getting them out is always the hard part, putting them back in is a breeze

Re: Help me out with driveaxle

I've always had better luck with someone holding the cup straight while I work it in (usually by pulling the joint out of the cup a bit, then ramming it forward). Avoid hammering

You should wait more than 12 minutes for a reply. People are busy. Be patient. Good luck.
