Re: Xentec or DDM Tuning HIDs

hands down ddm . i had a set of ddms on my 600rr with the ballast strapped to the frame ( 15k rpm vibration constantly lol ) and they lasted for 36k with out a single issue . so ddm gets my vote hands down

Re: Xentec or DDM Tuning HIDs

Just installed the Xentec slim ballast's on my car and 2 others. Seemed to be good, high quality product. Never used ddm, but I've heard good things. I'd just go with the cheaper because they both seem to be high quality.

Re: Xentec or DDM Tuning HIDs

i've had my DDM 55W 8k's for about a year and there doing wonders. i did have to hardwire them in because my headlight clips were completely cracked and unusable.
lifetime warranty so i don't really think you can beat it :/

note: the 55W 8k's look like 35W 6k

I'm not saying Ddm is better because I haven't heard of xentec. But I've always had Ddm. And plus they are local. So I guess Iam saying Ddm is better lol

Re: Xentec or DDM Tuning HIDs

I'm probably the only one on here that's installed and used both, and I can say that DDM is a higher quality ballast, and Xentec's flicker too much.

I plan on going, but I don't want to have to get there at 7am like I did in Nashville last year. I was like 40th in line and still had to wait for the gate another 2 hours
