Icon5 H23a Bluetop Swap. Help Please. Tranny/ecu

I have an F22a1 in my 93 Prelude right now with 264k miles and a blown headgasket that I'm riding till I figure out this swap I'm doing.

I found an H23a Bluetop for $899, that comes with everyting except Ecu, and Tranny.

So at this point, all I would like to know is what AUTOMATIC-(city boy) Transmission will fit the H23a, and what ecu I need to get for it as well.

So far my research says that a p13 ecu is what I need. And the H23a vtec can bolt up to any 90-01 F22 accord and 97-01 transmission except the SH tranny... It'll also bolt up to an 92-96 H23 and H22 transmission.

Any further help will be greatly appreciated, and write-ups would help a bunch.

Thank you.

your on the right track. Make sure the p13 is an auto ecu or get a p28 and have them put a base map and convert it to auto. Also be careful who you get your motors from. A reputable company like hmotors would be good. A little bit more pricey but more security

Alright, thanks man. I'm getting my engine from
JDM Engine Depot
It's the same place my buddy got his H22 from. It seems pretty legit.

Can't wait to put this bad boy in, won't have to worry about overheating anymore, hopefully, and will have a/c if the compressor works.

You can use your f22 tranny but will be going to the long gears. And what did you do about your wire harness because it's and obd2 motor and that's an obd1 car? if you could send me a private message on how you hooked that up it would be greatly appreciated. You might have to get a whole new wire harness like I did for around $700 at rywire.com if you want to keep all the parts that come on the motor like the manifold and alternator. Good luck.

I have a buddy with an h23 wire harness that I'm going to use. All I have to wire in after that is the Vtec, I'm pretty sure. Lol, no way I'd spend $700 on a new harness, that's insane. Salvage yards, and friends with part outs are where it's at.

My main concern is finding the ECU for an Automatic H23 DOHC VTEC (P28 chipped), and the computer for the h22 auto tranny.
