Looked searched tested and pulled hair but no vtec

i have read through many forums and searched most that i could. the problems is my seems to be the only one with this problem.. Like title said i have no vtec. my car when i first started this problem would hit the fuel cutoff at 6500 and nothing more. after replacing the vtec pressure switch wala i have 7500 rpm. i am getting full rps but there is no difference in the motor sound ie no vtec pull. i have checked oil level oil pressure(85psi) when vtec supposed to engage, wiring(ohm/volt tests), ecu out put to a point, oil pan for dents, timing ,and coolant temp. i have no mil light on and it does work. i have gone through everything i can think of but i am stumped been a month now an i am not one to ask until i have tried most things i can think of. any help would be great. oh i have not tryed a different ecu due to not knowing anyone with another h22 lude

Have you checked your vtec solenoid?

Also u can take off the solenoid and theres a screen that may be dirty. Try cleaning that out. That can sometimes cause vtec not to engage.

Re: Looked searched tested and pulled hair but no vtec

i have already replaced the screen and gasket when i first got the motor. i blew up my first h22 had 300k on the motor. i tried a trick today that i have seen on a few forums but it didn't show me anything. i took a power wire from the bat and connected it to a switch then to vtec solenoid and got no difference in the motor i am thinking it just might be the vtec its self.
