Starting issues
ok so before somebody chimes in with Compression spark and fuel ive checked it this is deff an electrical issue.
When i first got the car and got it home I could not get it to start, problem was the alternator plug (the green one) broke off and was not recharging the battery. after 2 zip ties and a few burns from my header on the back of my hand the issue was fixed. been starting up fine ever since, minus the occasional key turn and just hearing the starter click I turn it a few more times and the car starts right up. Which brings me to my current issue, the battery is only about a year old and its a walmart ever-start black and yellow one. I washed my car today and started it to pull out of the drive way and park it in my cul-de-sac and it started fine and drove perfect. An hour later I go to start it up to go to work and POOF battery is dead,no starter click,my gauges blinked a few times and I had to get a jump, no lights were left on the key was not in it, nothing was left running. and after a 3 mile drive my battery still was dead and would not start the car. Im getting the battery tested tomorrow to see if it is indeed the battery I don't think i have a power drain because for about a month i havent had this issue and it sat for 2 days one time and started right up. so my question is. could it be my ignition or starter or even main relay that could be causing this issue if its not the battery?
