Type sh swap in 93 si

I got a really good deal on a type sh full swap from a 2001. My question is, is there any way I can get it to work in my 93 si? I've searched and found nothing. From what Little i did find, I've read the block casting is different and the tranny will not bolt up and work on any other h22. Is there anybody that has done this swap and got it to work? Basically my h23 has a bad crank and I picked up this full swap for 100 bucks, I know I can swap all the internals and head from the h22 over to my h23 block and make that work. I was also wondering if I could use the full swap and get some sh axles, or is it more complicated than that? Any help or info on this swap would be greatly appreciated.

Honestly, resell that sh swap and buy you a regular h22 or h23. It will be MUCH MUCH easier and save you sooooo many headaches. I dont even think it would be possible to do the swap anyways.

Re: Type sh swap in 93 si

Yeah. The obd2 isn't an issue. We don't have emissions, so I would just convert it back to obd1

Re: Type sh swap in 93 si

Isn't there a company that made a halfshaft that allowed you to delete the atts system, and use a base model tranny on a sh?

Re: Type sh swap in 93 si

Ok. If anybody has ever deleted the atts system off their sh, do you have any pics of the half shaft you made?
