Cv axle change today

I had to change the drivers side cv axle today. . . instead of risking tearing up a balljoint boot, I decided to take the extra 10 minutes and pull the shock completely out and the upper control arm. Ten times easier than messin with a stupid balljoint. And the only reason I did this is cause the factory upper arms are not adjustable so it wouldn't mess with the alignment. Im sure I'm not the only one that has done this but i hope me bringing the thought up will help someone out in the future.

That's how I've always done it. I hate disconnecting ball joints
