Icon9 Good price???

Hey ya'll. i have a 3rd gen that is about on its last leg. I have now developed a minor oil leak around the timing cover. So I'm lookin for a 4th gen to ride around in or maybe fix up while i'm gettin my 3rd gen spiffed up. What i'm wondering is, what would b a decent price that i should expect to pay for a 4th gen, I see 5th gens goin from 5-7k, i dont' have that kind of cash, so i'm hopine for something around 1k-2500 at most. Any thoughts?

Re: Good price???

yeah, you could most def get one for that price.

the condition would be questionable.

my advice is to find one with the f22 in it, great motor, and people think they are worthless so they are willing to sell for less, plus if the motor is shot you can pick a good one up for about 300 to 500.

Re: Good price???

A lot of 4th gen ludes are between that price, probably not an h22a unless it needs work (like mine did).

You can find an automatic h23, or like brodie said an f series, nothing real special, for that price. Then when the 3rd is fixed and you're in that, turn the 4th gen into your next project, JDM it up. 8)
