H22 Swap update...

Here are a couple of pics of my progress. I removed the h23 out and am in the process of pulling my h22 to put in my other prelude. I had a bit of trouble removing the axel nuts though.

My brother used a five foot pipe and my craftsman half inch ratchet and as he pulled down the head of the ratchet snaped right off with a loud ping.

So we jacked the car up removed the tires and he pushed on the break pedal as I used a standard half inch impact with 290ftp of torque to remove the bolt. Funny enough the darn thing came off really easy this way.

So the axels are removed and all I have to do now is remove the motor and trans and tuck it in my beautiful 92' Prelude. If any one has any sugestions or tips I am open to listen. This is my first Honda swap and its almost done.

Re: H22 Swap update...

just use your h22 harness to save you the headache of running the extra wires for vtec. maybe you were already going that route, but just thought i would suggest it just in case. hope it goes painlessly for you!!

'92s never came with vtec, so wiring vtec NEEDS to be done

axle nuts are bad, but not as bad as crank pulley bolts.
