H23 Engine Harness

Hello everyone, I'm in the process of removing my h23 for an h22 swap. My question is there a way to remove the engine harness as one piece instead of removing every plug and labeling them onm the engine. The h22 and 23 use a coimpletely diffrent harness i believe? And if not and they use the same harness Please let me know.. This is my first swap and i got the mechanical part down.. The wires are messing me up.

Re: H23 Engine Harness

just disconnect the ENGINE harness from the CHASSIS harness, with the ~6-8 connectors on the passenger side strut tower.
then pull the engine out WITH the engine harness attached.

Re: H23 Engine Harness

haha yup sure did pal.

they're pretty obvious connectors, just go look right now and you'll see them. now that i think about it its prolly less than 6 connectors, maybe 5.

If you cannot remove every plug and wire from the engine and put it back in without any help you should not be doing this swap yourself and no you have to unglup wires

I gotta learn some time. The only reason i start taking them off is my dad and me are doing it. I neglected too tell him there was a diffrent harness for the engine.
