h22 timing belt

Is there a different between the JDM version and the USDM model...I believe the Jdm motor has a more aggressive cams i believer.... but does that affects the timing belt

Re: h22 timing belt

the cam gears would have to be larger, smaller, or in a different orientation for it to effect the size of the belt. the belts are the same.

it's the lobes of the cams themselves that make them perform differently.

Re: h22 timing belt

The JDM H22A is pretty similar in most aspects to the USDM H22's, the engine you're talking about with aggressive cams is the JDM red top Type-S engine.
