steering issue

okay so last night i was leaving a friends house and i lost control and hit a curb with the front passenger side going about 10-15mph. i got some curb rash and shattered my front lip. now while going straight the steering wheel is turned quite a bit to the right, and when i hit bump the steering wheel jerks. i honestly shouldnt be driving it cause its kinda scary.

any idea what issue this could be? any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks!

Re: steering issue

definitely an alignment issue. first i would check out the tie rod and control arms to see if there are any noticeable bends. if all appears well go for a 4 wheel alignment at a local shop and see what the specs come out to. most likely nothing is bent, you just knocked the front end out of alignment

Re: steering issue

Ya sounds like when you hit the curb you knocked out your alignment, doesnt sound too big of a deal. but i would really look over your rims to make sure they didnt crack or anything.

Re: steering issue

Make sure to get the rim itself checked for being bent too, you'll have a really bad vibration in your steering even if you get your alignment fixed if your rim is bent.
