silicon radiator hose

obx silicon radiator hose, yes or no. I'm not trying to buy or promote buying cheap parts, just wondering if someone has bought this and if its better than a kragen hose.

I want [need] new ones because I'm doing a rebuild from a cracked head. Yes i could just flush them or whatever but I also bought a mishimoto radiator and just want new hoses to go with it. I like the silicon look but still want black. I was really wondering if obx quality was good

Re: silicon radiator hose

I know the thread is two months old but I found a set that i was thinking about getting. Mine are starting to show mild cracking so I'm looking at options. Blackworks Racing - Silicone Hose Kit - 97-01 Honda Prelude Black

Re: silicon radiator hose

samco hoses fit great but they tend to be sold as a kit that includes the heater hoses and the cooler hoses (that makes them way more expensive ) . so with samco you pay a lot more but you get more also .. im doing black and i already replaced all the other hoses when i did my swap so i figured id go with these .. like i said ill let everyone know about the quality when i get mine on tues ..

Re: silicon radiator hose

I've heard good things about the samco hoses. I've installed a few of the mishimoto hoses, and I was impressed with them. they're holding up very well.
