93PreludeCincy is on a distinguished road
extending trunk space

I have a 93 Prelude Si and I am trying to remove my back seats. I am a snowboarding instructor and trying to fit more than one snowboard in a prelude is next to impossible. I am trying to completely remove my back seat but do not know how to go about doing so. Any help would be appreciated.

The service manual should tell you everything you need to know, it will show pics with the bolt locations:

The lower seat cushions release by pulling a couple of small tabs at the front of the cushion. That exposes the bolts holding the backs to the rear bulkhead. Unfortunately, it won't give you any more room -- the metal bulkhead behind the seat back is part of the structure and isn't designed to come out.

Re: extending trunk space

Do your best to get a roof rack! That way, you'll look like a guy that goes out and does stuff, it looks sick, and you won't cut up your interior panels with the sharp edges of the boards. Sometimes trying to stick the board through the back seat is a bitch with bindings on and if you're not careful, something will get screwed up.
