sucks bad, just dropped about $1200 on new cv axles, starter, gaskets, clutch parts, etc.

sooo... looks like i am going to get her towed to a shop, and get a complete new engine swap w. tranny for about 1400 installed.

I am indecisive due to the fact Everyone and their mom swaps an H22a obd1 in their lude, so i was planning on doing F series swap and build up inside for turbo upgrade.

Yeah I will. I just joined PZ. But I've been a member of Prelude Australia for a long time. I'll make a thread showing my ride.

Re: Blew head gasket, timing -, water pump bad, engine is flooded with antifreeze! :(

dude i had the same mind set f22a1 build it for boost all the way!! but now in fact the best decision i made was my new baby my h22a :x i never thought id say it but it is the motor preludes can breathe with i feel like! screw all the civics that take them out ( i mean its sick when they do) but! were a dying breed and deserve what belongs in us most! but if you wanna be unique go h23 vtec (non-frankenstein) the actual accord motor no one knows about in your daily neighborhood of hondas... but no man dont hate on the set-up everyone plus your mom gets bc that can be as unique as what you put in it man but yes seeing a SOHC ballin would be nasty but im just sayin i was in the same situation and unfortunatley i can say that its one of my best decisions i made for my car!

Re: Blew head gasket, timing -, water pump bad, engine is flooded with antifreeze! :(

An F22/23 will make awesome power if boosted. A stock F22/23 will be slow no doubt but not boosted and is one of the best motors to boost because of the iron sleeves in the block. You can boost on that block without re-sleeving or changing pistons. There is an Accord over here (98-02 I'm not sure exactly but it's that body style) and he eats up the competition. His Accord is fast and completely turbo-ed nasty! He chills on Fridays over here at the local hang out and I have seen under his hood. He is modest (and doesn't want to tip much info) and won't give any specs really but I know a monster when I see one!

an F22 is definitely the strongest for boost. so if your thinking boost, then go with the f22. and thats a good deal
